Here's exactly what happens.

During the pilot programme, a meaningful security deposit is held before every handover — you set the amount. Most damage in Dubai costs between AED 300–3,500 to repair (scratches, dents, a panel respray). A deposit of AED 3,000–5,000 covers the vast majority of realistic scenarios.

For major damage: full resprays run AED 4,000–8,000. More serious accidents may reach AED 15,000–20,000. We recommend owners of higher-value cars set deposits accordingly.

Every dispute is handled directly by the Cruize Founding Team — personally, not by a remote agent. In the unlikely event of major damage exceeding the deposit, the Cruize team works directly with both parties to reach a resolution. A dedicated insurance product for Cruize bookings is currently being finalised and will be active before public launch.
